The story behind the Ride For Relief
Matthew Cameron, an 11 year old boy from Madison, Ohio came up with a creative way to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
He thought if he could gather some of his friends, get sponsors and ride his dirt bike, he could "Ride for Relief". Matthew
knew he would need help with advertising and a track to hold the event, so he asked Mom to e-mail his favorite rider Trevor
Vines...
Trevor not only reponded to the e-mail from Matthew and his Mother, but he also pledged his full support and said all tracks at TV
Land would be open for the event.
The Ride for Relief has now generated more than $11,000 for victims of Hurricane Katrina
and the American Red Cross.
Thank you Trevor for everything you did to make the Ride for Relief possible. It
means more to us than words can say...
